Santos Dumont Airport (IATA: SDU; ICAO: SBRJ), or also called Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport, is the second airport serving Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Being a domestic airport, it is located just 2 km from Rio de Janeiro city centre and it is the 6th largest airport in terms of passenger influx.

Rio Santos Dumont Airport has 2 passenger Terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Both Terminals are connected between them through a bridge at the floor 0.

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 has no airlines or gates. Terminal 1 has baggage claim, customs, currency exchange , ATM, post office and many other services and facilities... The floor 1 of T1 has Hudson news, the floor 2 has various banking facilities, a drug store, the Rio Aeroporto Hotel, a chapel, lottery, pasport insurance, Federal Police and Immigration Office.

Terminal 2

It is the Santos Dumont Terminal which houses all the airlines: Avianca Brazil, Azul Brazilian Airlines, GOL Airlines, LATAM Brasil and TRIP. It has two separated areas: Arrivals and Departures. It offers as well many services and facilities and access to the Parking area and to the transport area to Rio de Janeiro city centre. A part from restaurants, dutty free shops, ATMs and Currency exchange desks, SDU Airport disposes of the following services:

- Lost and Found: at Departures Terminal, open from 06:00h to 23:30h

- Post office: at Departures Terminal, floor 1, open Monday to Friday from 09:00h to 17:00h.

- Bootblack: at the Departures Terminal, floor 0, open from 07:00h to 20:00h..

- Baby Changing: at the Arrivals Terminal open from 06:00h to 22:30h.

- Medical Post: at the Departures Terminal open from 06:00h to 22.30h.
