Rio de Janeiro Airport Terminal 2

Rio de Janeiro Airport Terminal 2 is also shaped in a half circle and holds both domestic and international flights.

Levels

GIG Airport Terminal 2 consists of three levels:

Ground level

The Arrivals level is split into domestic and international areas with separate baggage claims.

Services: Currency exchange, rental car counters and transportation, food, drink and retail concessions, duty free stores.

The Welcome Center provides information to passengers.

First level

Find passport control and Federal police as well as some services and access to garages.

Second level

Departures level and airline check-in level.

Domestic flights: Door A to check-in and after the security check, proceed to domestic departures hall with gates 25-32.

International flights: Doors C or D and after the security check and passport control, proceed to boarding hall and to international departure gates 11-43.

South Pier

It is the newest part of Terminal 2, which hosts boarding gates 44 to 62.

It also has a duty free area and VIP rooms.

Entrance fee: $49 (3 hours).

GOL Premium Lounge (Domestic): Second level, opposite Gate B36 and B37. Open from 06:00 to 00:00. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV. Please note it is a non-smoking facility. Only for domestic passengers.

GOL Premium Lounge (International): Third level, South Pier. Open from 06:00 to 02:00. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Children’s play area, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers, Telephones.
